This ledge can be reached from the upper part of Dévaloir de la Mule. A few tricky sections in steep grassy slopes enable to reach the spot of the picture. At this spot, the ledge widens a little, just before it narrows once more a bit further.
This place is very little frequented. Only a few chamois and rock-climbers that exit from the Lamin wall take the risk to cross it.
The presence of rock-climbers in the Lamin wall and on the Esplanade de la Lamin requires a great attention when one crosses this ledge. One can easily make some stones to fall.
One sees in the picture, the Sphinx that is cut out from the Salève of the Chavannes and Pitons.
