At Col Ouest de Barasson

The Col Ouest de Barasson is among these magical places one has to visit.

On one hand, this place holds its surprise until the last moment. One can, of course, imagine when going up the Combe the Barasson that the view will widen up. But not that way, since one has a view onto the Mont Blanc.

This one is in the background in the middle of the picture. To the right, one sees the spire of Grandes Jorasses. Before these tops, there is the mountain range on the border between Italy and Switzerland: the Marmontains.
