The hotel and the hospice

When one makes the snowshoes hike that is about reaching the Grand Saint-Bernard hospice, one sees, during the last meters, the following view.

To the right, there is the hotel, which is closed during winter. To the left is the hospice.

One interesting fact is worth mentioning. It is possible to stay overnight at the hospice also during summer. However, the lodging is available only for those who have climbed by foot to the pass. For all others, the only choice is to stay at the hotel, or to go further.
