Sunrise onto Grand Saint-Bernard

The beauty of this picture tends to make me stay quiet.

One only has to imagine that, when one walks over in order to admire this view, the snow is squeaking under the feet. The air is very cold and at each breathing out, one emits a small steam cloud. In one's back, the sun is pleasingly warming up. In front of us, the frosty landscape is slowly shaking up from the night.

Soon the sun will warm up the atmosphere and the snow, so hard and noisy in the morning, will become soft as the day passes by.
